Professor Savva Fatkulin

Savva Fatkulin was born in Sverdlovsk, Rusia en 1981. He began his violin studies at the age of 6, under the direction of his after, Sergui Fatkulin, at the Dependent Music School of the Moscow Conservatory. Later, he completed his musical training at the College of Music of Reina Sofia, at the Violin Chair of the Telefónica Foundation of the professor Zahkar Bron, Holder of the said chair, where he received the Certificate of Honor as a member of the Best Chamber Group of the School, from the hand of her Majesty the Queen Lady Sofía.

Violinist Pi Ho-Young

Pi Ho-Young restlessly plays in recitals, concert stages, chamber music and orchestras every year. His “street performance” at the Seoul’s Gangnam Subway Station in 2007 drew an explosion of interest. His recitals with unique repertoires and themes have created a fresh new wave amongst the musical public while his recent fulllength plays including Brahms, Prokofiev, Mozart, Beethoven, Faure, and Shubert showed his academic interests.

Leung Kin Fung

Leung Kin-fung, a world-class musician wearing many hats in the classical music world, holds the positions of First Associate Concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), Music Director of Hong Kong Orchestra and Artistic Director of Hong Kong Pure Strings, among many other capacities. Born in Guangzhou, he started playing the violin publicly at the age of eight. Later he moved to Hong Kong, he gained admission to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) with outstanding performance in 1984. Two years later, he won a full scholarship to study at the Eastman School of Music, US, before earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. He continued his studies at The Juilliard School with a full scholarship.

As a highly decorated artist, Kin-fung’s performances around the globe have earned him unanimous acclaim in Italy, Belgium, Russia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, the US and more. Among the numerous accolades bestowed upon him, his strings of awards began as early as in the 1990s when he won Second Prize at the 19th William Primrose International Viola Competition and became the first Hong Kong musician to win First Prize at the Young Artist Competition in New York. He was named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Hong Kong in 2002. He made it to the list of Who’s Who in the HKSAR by Sing Tao Publishing in 2004 and earned the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2014 – Artist of the Year (Music). He has been a recording artist since 1996, receiving great reviews and gaining popularity with his prolific productions of solo albums and DVDs.

Feng Jia

Born from a musical family, Ms Feng Jia started learning violin with her father at the age of 3, and won the provincial violin competition champion at the age of 5.

At the age of 9, she won the second place in the China National Violin Competition for Youngsters.

Ms Feng graduated from Wuhan Conservatory of Music with full scholarship s and first class honours for both bachelor and Master Degree in violin performance and education under the tutelage of Prof. Xiong Zhen and leading violin professor in China, Mr. Lin Yaoji, during that time, she accepted by the Canadian “Music Bridge” International Summer Camp, Swiss International Summer Camp with a full scholarship, and she won the award in the summer camp as the Best Concerto Performer Award in the Competition;
